WHAT IS FOALFOLLOW?

FoalFollow is an app that helps you keep track of your mare's pregnancy.

The app has simple features such as:

- Calculate the estimated due date of 340 days, you can also choose yourself how long the pregnancy period should last!

- Shows you how many days pregnant the mare is

- How many days until the expected due date

- Shows gestation month and trimester

- List of names where you can fill in current names for the upcoming foal

- Checklist that you can tick off if you have done relevant tasks for your mare

When the foal is born, you can press the button on the main page of your mare, "The foal is born!", where you can then fill in the name of the foal, if any, filly/colt, and the date of birth. You can change this later in settings for the foal/offspring. You will then be taken to the foal's overview - and the overview of the gestation stops automatically. On the foal's overview, you can see which day of the pregnancy the foal was born, the date, sire and dam. You can also add notes to the foal/offspring, this is the same notes-component as the notes during the gestation.

Follow the gestation month by month and the development of the fetus in the womb!

FoalFollow costs NOK 39 on Google Play and NOK 35 at the App Store.

The app is available in Norwegian in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. The FoalFollow English version is available world wide by January 2024.

VISION AND GOALS

Our vision is to offer an aid to mare owners and breeders that can make it easier to keep track of the mare's pregnancy, both in the form of tools and information in collaboration with veterinarians.

The goal is to constantly develop the app to become better, and to meet the greater needs of mare owners and breeders. We will use feedback to improve both the app and how it is produced, and meet our users with open arms.

We have long-term goals for development, and ideas that are worked on to cover both needs and larger user groups.
